I got it. You have to twist the back of the light first then it comes out.

I bought at 899 light. I pulled the connector and it is now disconnected. Can I now just pull hard to get the light out. It seems to be firm?

It was the u-joints that needed to be replaced. That fixed the problem. I got new shocks as well which has improved ride quality. Levon

I got to the Ford Dealership or Tires plus. I haven't found a reliable mechanic yet. I don't do much regular maintenance besides obvious stuff like oil changes, rotate tires alignments and the like.

I believe I had experienced the same issue. When I slowed down the transfer case would make a crazy noise. I ended up having to replace it. Good luck.

I'm most interested in those that commute regularly (and go to the mountains on weekends!) with an explorer with 250k plus miles on it and what they are spending.

Replace seat belt, oil pan gasket, transmission pan gasket, oil changes, ball joint replaced, cam bolts, alignments, new tires, new transfer case, short in turn signal, some part for the 4-wheel drive...I can go on.

The people at tires plus keep pushing to get a brake fluid flush. They put some strip in the brake fluid and it turns colors and they said it needs to be done. Is a brake fluid flush something I need?

Update: I went to the Parker, CO Mr. Transmission and the transfer case needs to be repaired. All told it will be $1700 + tax and I'll be back in action.

There is a location closer to Denver I will contact them.
