    High fuel trims

2009 Honda Civic LX 1.8L (R18A1). 294,000+ miles I've noticed while scrolling through torque pro that my Short and long term fuel trims are the same and excessive at -71.88%. it throws a P0420 code and sometimes a P0302. I have recently replaced plugs and the P0302 hasn't come back. Odd issue...

    Another seat question

Yes there are many seat threads, here's another question. I have sciatica, and as a result, the right lower part of my back hurts most of the time. What seats do you think would be best to swap into my 98 Sport? I need to keep the sliding function as the back seat does get used.

    Roof Capacity

I searched, didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I found the capacity for the factory roof racks/cross bars but not the roof rails/roof. Anyone know? Thinking about a RTT, but I'm not exactly the lightest person (265+lbs)

    Quarter window question

I searched, but saw nothing in here and Google. Is there a way to convert the non-movable quarter panel glass (cargo are behind seat) to a vented (like the back seat) or replace with a slide window (like a camper shell)? I'm going to eventually have to pull the glass to reseal, so it got me...

    1998 OHV Preventative Maintenance

I've recently acquired a Light Blue 1998 Sport 2wd, automatic, with the 4L OHV for $500. It's has well about 240k on the dash (still about 50k under my daily driver). Since it's not my primary transportation, I have time to do what I need/want to with it. I worked on it a little bit for the...

    4r70w swap. New issues

Hi, I lurk a lot and usually find my answers. Not this time. I have a 1996 Explorer xlt 5.0 2wd. I recently swapped my transmission. The donor transmission was from a wrecked 2001 f150 4.2l 2wd. I swapped over the mlps, and both speed sensors. It gets better mpg, runs and drives better than it...

    Coolant leak tracking

On my way back from seeing my son in Dothan Alabama, I noticed my temperature gauge was higher than it usually is (always reads low). And the check gauge light came on. I loaded up on water thinking I'd make it home. I put about 2 gallons in the radiator and the tank. About 20 minutes later, I...

    Which 4r70w?

Repost, possibly in a better section: Hi, I am planning on finding a 4r70w out of a junk yard and then rebuilding it so that there are no reliability issues. I remember reading that some newer years, all I would have to repin a couple of pins. For the life of me, I can't find that thread. I...

    Which Transmission

Hi, I am planning on finding a 4r70w out of a junk yard and then rebuilding it so that there are no reliability issues. I remember reading that some newer years, all I would have to repin a couple of pins. For the life of me, I can't find that thread. I have a 3-4 shudder and when I pulled the...

    What brand water pump?

Hey, I searched and searched... In your opinion, aside from own Motorcraft, what's the best brand water pump for the money? I have confirmed a leak from the water pump weep hole. I doubt it should leak on a cool engine, while turning by hand, but it does. More and more everyday. If I'm lucky, I...

    Been lurking

I've been on the site quite a bit, just registered. Most of my questions have already been covered :-) Anyway, I have a nice and dirty 1996 Ex XLT, only a 2wd :-/, but has the 302. Picked it up in October for a whopping $500 (Police impound). I work 6 days, they'd have me work 7 if I let tem...
