Found the micro set at target. Only one in stock. Then found this lot at a flea market. Wish the jungle Explorer was more complete though.

I installed this guy on the JP Explorer. Swiss cheesed the bottom of the air box with a K&N. Definitely felt a difference. Still a pig though. lol

Please post your findings after the new one is installed. I had my 93 trans rebuilt and it would lock and up lock on its own. Had that fixed and now I don’t feel or see (on the tach) it locking up. But my rpms are where they “should be” with my gears and tires.

I agree with a lot of this. With the 6 digit odometer.. I think it’s kilometers not miles. Look at the speedo.

Going to watch this as well… I have 2 91 Explorers. Both built before this one. ( April 90) both with autos. One is number 1834 and is mint… if this one gets anywhere near $10k I’m posting mine! Lol One question I do have… the Explorer was offered with auto and manual when first released… why...

It was broken in the housing. When I removed the speedo cable change out the gear the sensor fell apart. Glad I had a spare! Lol

I had this issue and this is what I found when I pulled my speed sensor apart. Came apart in pieces. Fixed it and is super smooth now.

Oh and the JP Explorer shoes! Lol

The studs have a ton of room to be adjusted. Just set them to what the instructions said. The beam pivots look centered. I would think I could go another inch on the arms but was unsure if it would cause issues. These are new arms. Thanks for the response

So on my 93 I have Duff extended arms and their coil buckets. 4” lift spring and f150 coil seats. The front end is around 5” of lift on 33s. Rear is SOA. My old lift was a rough country 4” lift. The piece of paper that came with the arms states the heims need to be turned out 3 full turns...

Took off the seat covers and arm rest cover that’s been on my 1991 since 1990. I’m loving this thing more and more everyday. Slowly getting it cleaned up and ready for paint.

Really like the upper shock mount. Gives me some ideas on mine. I’ve been wanting to do something like this.. I’ve been running the shock adapters for the last few months and last week I had one fall off while down in south Florida… didn’t realize it for about 60 miles.. lost half of a brand...

No but here’s the back seats. The fronts match this pattern. The fronts are very similar to the ranger seats in 90/91.
