    take out the pinch bolt if its like the rear and it will slide straight out

    Rotors

    on ebay you can find slotted and cross drilled rotors for around 200 dollars. the great part is the come with free ceramic brake pads which work better and create less dust. all 4 rotors and brakes pads all around for $200. you cant even get oem parts for that cheap.

    im not sure if that wire on the converter is a gr4ound. actually i believe it is a remote wire if im not mistaken. i have the same converter in my buddies 97 expo. i didnt even use that wire coming off the box. un-ground it and try that

    Stock Speaker amp

    you could use the red yellow and black wires tro power the cd player. then ryn your own speaker wires from the cd player to the doors. or you could buy a bypass harness from best buy or somewhere for like 20 bucks. i ended up running my own wires

    Front and Rear End

    the fill plug for the front diff is on the side opposite the driveshaft.allyou need is a 3/8 ratchet to remove it. the one on the back is the same way except it takes about a 1inch square bit to remove it. youll see what im talkin about. i work at jiffy lube and i just didi mine for free. lucky me

    adding sub and amp question

    what you should do is use the line level converter off the rear speakers and tap into the remote/ingnition power wire on the nav. unit to use as a remote wire for your amp.

    i know that some pontiacs come with the antenna on the reaar window. it looks exactly the same as the defroster. im almost positive you can buy one if you look around.

    you cannot remove the running board w/o taking off the bumper. first take out the taillights. there is one screw under each one that needs to come out. after that you must take out about ten of those black clips that hold on the bumper by the weatherstrip. then under the truck at the very bottom...

    did you make sure you plugged in the harness in back of the 4x4 switch on the radio surround. that should be the only part of the 4x4 system you tampered with.

    ive got 182,000 on my 03 4.6 xlt. think it needs a torque converter due to the noise it makes. shifts great though. may have something to do with being an old jiffy lube company truck.

    i actually did see an improvement because the alt to battery wire was only one of 3 wires. i also got a fancy negative batt terminal, made a new body ground and a ground to the alt case in addition to the factory body and engine grounds. the lights still dim though. im trying not to buy a new...

    i noticed that there are 3 fusible links between the alternator and the battery. im gonna leave it there my question is should i put a fuse in-line between the alt. and battery when i add my 4 gauge wire. would it necessary sounds better. thanx 03 xlt
