i used the stock sub box from a 4 door in my 2 door so yes it works.the box came from a 94 and it went into a 96.

true but when you turn on your heater it cycles the clutch for a few seconds to make sure it stays active and wont freeze up.

i had the same problem with a 4r70w in an f-150,it turned out to be a broken servo piston return spring.when you put it in any gear it would move and shift but had no reverse and lurched forward when you started it in park.

so i put an a4ld in my 96 2 door to get rid of the 5 speed,3 pedals was never to my liking especially in town.we researched the od solenoid and tcc controls from the processor and they are a negative drop/engaugment with a 12 volt that was key on/off.it didnt seem like a huge thing to accomplish...
