I have a bronco 2 rear that I need to decode tag. Not sure of year. Axle tag reads as follows: 1st line- WGX BH 3J23 2nd line - 3 73 75 S604B

Any help appreciated.

1st line is the axle model numbers. You may someday need these for ordering parts.

2nd line: 3 73 = 3.73 gear ratio open differential, 75= 7.5 inch ring gear, the rest is the production code, kind of like the serial number.

What would I look for to get a limited slip on the tag?

3L73 or 3SL73 for the gear ratio. The L/SL where the decimal point would go indicate the limited slip option.
