I just did a TT on my truck, got about an inch. I'm not sure if they had been adjusted before I bought it, so I was wondering if someone could advise me on this angle of my cv joint. Too much? Or is it still good? Thanks for your time/assistance!

Anyone? I think I'm probably good but just wanted to be sure... I just don't want to grenade my cv joints. Thanks!

you might not "grenade " them, but they will wear faster. How many miles on those? are they original? Usually an inch is ok, but, they do tend to wear out faster none the less.

your fine.

Mine are at a pretty steep angle as well. If you did not get to the end of the driver's side torsion bolt, you should be okay IMO.

looks okay to me, i did that to mine and put on 100,000 miles afterward, no problems,

I ran my CV's until 180,000. And I 2 track and hunt and stuff. so they were not easy miles. Good luck!

I did get to the end, or very close to it on the drivers side... the angle of the joint looks about the same as the passenger side however. Thanks for the help everyone!
