Hi everyone, I need your help to understand where I should attach this small gray tube. In the second photo I traced with a red line from the point where the small gray tube comes from. I have already read your discussions but I don't understand what it is for and where I should reattach it.

Thanks for your help.

It attaches to the heater control valve on the heater hose inlet

Ok thank you very much I will look for it. I'll update you when I manage to fix it.
Where is it?

It's wonderful to be helped from so far away and so close at the same time. I am grateful to you. Thank you all.
No problem that's what we are here for

I have a coolant leak right under the valve, I read that it could be causing the leak. If I had to replace it, should I get a 2 or 4 port?
Tomorrow I'll go and physically check the valve, in the meantime I'd like to know. Thank you

The vacuum line attaches to the heater control valve. Your heater control valve is missing.
Look on rockauto.com to see ,which valve you use.

I found the valve which is a two port, removed the air filter sleeve and accessed it. I reattached the hose with a small zip tie to tighten it tightly because the hose was a bit loose. The valve doesn't leak, so I won't replace it. The hot air, cold air and air conditioning all work as before. What use should this valve have if connected correctly? thank you very much for helping

That valve blocks hot coolant from flowing thru HVAC box when ac (cold air) is being used. When hot and floor are selected, it will open back up.
