I got my Sport last week and have about 750 miles on it thus far.

Tonight I got my G-Timer out and made three bone stock runs to get a baseline prior to any mods.

93 degrees, 3/4 tank of fuel, no weight removed, traction control on, normal mode, no foot brake. No wheel spin. Set vehicle weight at 5100

1st run 5.92.....vehicle was warm

2nd run 6.10.....likely a little heat soak

3rd run 6.10.....still heat soaked though consistent.

Next mod will be my AirAid Intake

Then Magnaflow Exhaust

Then Ken's tuner

Goal is to get into the high 4's

4s with Kens tune is easily attainable. I went 4.6 Vbox verified. only mods are plugs tune and 3rd cat delete

Update...added first mod

Last night I installed my AirAid intake.

Went out for 3 more 0-60 runs.
Car was warm. Temp 87 degrees.
Normal mode, tires did not spin.

1st run......5.92
2nd run.....6.23
3rd run......6.08

So either the AirAid will not show gains until I open up the exhaust or it was no improvement or worse. My observations are that the AirAid rectangle intake opening to the grill does not line well and this could be a restriction, though I'm getting more total air in the top of the AirAid box, but it's hot engine air. I do not think their gasket is tall enough to seal off the engine heat.

I like their housing and filter.

Anyone else have input on their AirAid.

The Flex guys and SHO guys have shown the Airaid loses .2 and 2mph in the 1/4 mile.
Just FYI.

These vehicles are very much controlled by how much torque the engine is producing. In stock form, the throttle blade is controlled by the drive by wire system and torque management. In short, throwing an intake on there will likely do nothing without tuning only because the throttle itself will be closed more to reduce any extra torque you would have netted.

This is also partly why tuning alone can give such great gains.

same exact stretch of road?

Yes....exact same road....all three passes identical.

Boostking.....are you saying when I add the exhaust and maybe 170*and then tune for those mods, I will see the benefits of the intake?

4DRHTRD.... is the stock intake adequate after I tune and it was money wasted?

Correct. A proper tune for this vehicle would tune the throttle to stay open, regardless or torque management interjection. There are a few other "nannies" that get tuned out as well.

As your car sits right now, lets just say you picked up 20 awtq with the intake. The PCM is making a huge amount of calculations, and when the torque is higher than expected, the throttle is closed to reduce this output. There are other factors involved too, but right now your intake is probably just making your engine sound a bit louder.

A good tune will fix all of this.

Read through this article a friend of mine wrote while tuning the F150 EcoBoost. Not exactly the same but so close it doesnt matter, but you will clearly see that even in stock form on that truck, the throttle is closed significantly.

So the same thing will happen when I put the Magnaflow exhaust on until its tuned?

Will it cause any issues to install the exhaust until I load the tune? Say for a few days or a week?

I tested my car at the track. I ran one pass stock, then put the airaid in and then went back to stock. Stock intake was faster.
I would suggest just a K&N air filter in the stock box until someone comes up with a great cold air intake for us.

You can install it. It wont hurt you. These are MAP based vehicles so the nice thing is an intake and exhaust does not "require" a custom tune. Due to the nannies of torque management, you will get nearly zero gain until it is tuned out.

Go ahead and install the exhaust and get some sound clips and videos. It wont hurt. Unless you are gutting cats and doing down pipes and such.
