The 97 has a rear wiper that actually works good. The 2000 works like a steaming pile of crap.
Most people are just the opposite and ditch the ARC for regular shocks. The ARC stuff is expensive to replace when it goes bad.
IMO it would be more work than it's worth to convert the 2000 to ARC.

I would never ditch good leaf springs and new shocks for a soon to be 15 year old ARC system... No way...
lol no, I'm keeping the V8 '97 to drive, and I don't want the ARC in it, wondering if the ARC will go into the '00 V6 XLT so i can sell it. And swap the good leafs and shocks into the '97.
