Hi there, not sure if this the right spot for this question.(I'm a lil new to the site)
I have a 01 explorer sport, and everytime I turn the wheels to the left it feels/sounds like the right tire is dragging or sticking every couple seconds.
I had the rack and pinon replaced about a year ago, but when i had that done, they told me my right ball joint was loose. They offered to fix it for about $1000, I declined.
And recently I noted a chinging noise coming from the underside when I hit even the slightest of bumps. So I got under the truck and found the bottom bushing on the right side was completely gone. The noise was the washers banging around (being silenced with tape at the moment)
But if anyone has had this same problem or might know what is causing the wheel to drag like that, I'd really like to know.
Thanks.
