I have been searching for hours on here and on alldata and I can not seem to find my problem.

I have 2001 SOHC Sport (production date 3/00-later year models have a few differences). I bought the truck not running and I have done a lot of work to it but I am starting to get a little frustrated.

Ever since I got it running the P0174 code would pop up within 25-30 miles (I also had alot of other codes but I already addressed those issues). This code seems to want to stay.

At idle it runs rough but smooths out as it gets revved up. It has new plugs, wires, cylinder 2 & 3 has new injectors, new upper and lower intake gaskets, new PCV Valve. New fuel pump and filter (pressure at idle is 65psi, which is normal for my truck).

I keep reading about a PCV tube but my truck doesn't look like evryone elses engine and I can never find what they are talking about. When the intake was off I inspected every vacuum hose and found none to be damaged.

I got no responses but I think I found my problem, I just won't know for sure until tomorrow. After I got my SHO running I pulled my Ex into the garage to look for a vacuum leak because I ended up with two codes P0171 & P0174. I could hear some hissing and after using a 3/8 hose I found the area near the IAC to be a little loud. So I found an IAC gasket for my 98 Ex. and tried that (not sure if there is supposed to be a gasket but when I replaced the IAC in my 98 I never used the gasket so I saved it) and it didn't help. So I removed the four bolts that are below the IAC (what the IAC sits on) and noticed that the gasket was torn at one spot. Not sure if this is the cause of my problems but I have a good feeling that is.
