Hi all-

My '02 explorer has decided to stall at stops. Not always but seems to do it more frequently as is the engine is warmer. It has also flashed the warning lights while driving highway speed, the lights that show when the key is engaged but the vehicle is not started. I feel a slight stall then it proceeds as normal. This is a bit nerve racking going at 65mph.
Also my "O/D not on" light comes on after 10 minutes. I tried pushing the button to re-engage the O/D and felt it drop out of O/D. Then every 10 minutes there after the warning sound goes off about the O/D being off. The transmission was replaced November 2014.
Thanks :(

You better get that hooked up to a good scantool ASAP. Also let us know which engine you have.

I had a similar problem. Turns out a heater core hose I installed to replace the lower degas bottle hose was pushing/damaging the crank sensor wires. I would inspect the crank sensor see if the is any damage to it or its wiring.

If you see nothing there you should certainly clean your MAF sensor and throttle body.

that's where I would start.

Thank you, I will check it. I have cleaned the MAF, and replaced the TPS. Also the fuel filter
