hey what goin im new to the site but need help asap..i have installed 3 diffrent head units from a jvc to a panasonic to the one i currently have pioneer avic d3 and all of the hu seem to work fine if u fade it to only the rear for the most part its sounds really clear...but as soon as u fade it to the front it starts to crackle at higher volumes almost is if the polarity was off so i tried clipping the driver side speaker connection at the hu and that seemed to clear it up but still crackels even at really low levels its sound muffled i dont know what to do now ..looks like the radio got ripped off before because the factory harnes is now a aftermarket one and there is a grey/black and a yellow wire that are just cut off going no where..only thing that i have come up with is the previous owner didnt do somthing right when installing the aftermarket harness but i went through wire for wire and it all checks out!!! hope someone can help a guy out with this problem

hi don't know if this will help but i to have this problem i have heard some have a factory amp in line so that could be a prob or bad wire i guess you have tried bypassing factory wire and go from head to speaker directly see if any better i haven't tried to fix mine yet gotta wire sub power supply etc hope i could help

i really dont want to go through the hassle of wiring each speaker although it sounds like the only way to eliminate this problem..but even with the factory deck i had this problem but im assuming the previous owner just installed a basic cd cassete and not the one intended for premium sound because the factory had only one plug going to it and the antenna of course..

welcome

ok soooooo i called a local shop thinking ive done pretty much everthing but actually contact a "professional" the answer i recived was maybe a bad speaker and i would just like to know if that is a high probibilty before i go out and spend the money on new door speakers although new speakers wouldnt hurt...just dont want to be back to square one wonderin what the hell it is!!! thanks again

that's what i thought put my sony's in place of factory speakers no change
so i will pull head unit run a test wire to speaker see if it help's then the fun of fishing oh so lookin forward to that
