The "plastic" covers of the Cruise Control Switch(es) on my '02 S/T are cracked and missing parts of them. System works fine.

I've done a search on the Forum about replacing JUST the covers but don't seem to find a specific procedure to do so. I don't "think" the covers themselves are available but I'm "thinking" I may be able to remove the covers off a new set of switches and install them on my existing switches. I'd avoid having to fool with replacing the entire switch system.

So... are the covers replaceable...without damaging them if using a reasonable amount of care doing so?

The switches are cheap (can get them off Amazon for ~$20) and it takes 20-30min to install them. The switches I bought came with new wiring, but I just reused my factory wiring so I didn't have to route new wire around the steering wheel. There are plenty of videos that walk you through and the procedure is the same for a 2nd ten Ex and most Rangers.
