While probing the inside fuse box with my test light for a spot to connect the hot wire for a CB radio, the engine just shut off and would not restart or even turn over.

All the electrical work: lights, radio, turn signals, etc.

In rethinking where I was when it shut off, I MAY have been probing #20 fuse which is the PCM and some lights(which work).

Could I have somehow shorted(?) the PCM out and it needs to be rebooted or something like that?

Check fuse 19. That fuse being blown will prevent the engine from cranking, but everything else will work.

Thank you 429cj-3x2 for the suggestion. When I first opened the inside fuse box cover, there was not a fuse in #19 . My owners manual says #19 is "trailer tow park lamps" although I did install a fuse there to no avail.

HOWEVER, I once again inspected the fuse box and noticed there was no fuse in #10 which is both ignition and PATS but there was one next to it in #11 which is the subwoofer.

I took the one out of #11 , put it in #10 and viola it magically started.

Can it really have been that simple that in me searching around for a hot fuse for my CB that I put the fuse back in the wrong spot?

It appears so...PLEASE don't tell my wife, she will hold this silly error against me forever. Wives have a memory like an elephant.
