I have a O2 XLS that Ive only had for about a month, its got 62000 miles on it. Its seems to be exceptionaly clean and runs great, I love it so far, except Ive noticed a couple of drops of oil from the rear end on my drive. Is this a common thing with these trucks. Im not a mechanic by no means, so where do I need to start.

Thanks Russ

Sounds like your rear axle shaft seal is leaking. They are located on both sides of the differential. A common repair. Poor Ford part quality.
Had both sides on my rear axle replaced for 310.00 @ my Ford dealership.

Thanks, Ill have that checked out. Any other things this year model is prone for problems.

Thanks

yes...the whole rear end is probably in need of replacement...does it howl at high speeds?

No howling noises at all goes down the road quiet and smooth. How do I check the oil level in the rear end, what do I need to be looking for.

Thanks
