Lots of good info on this site but can't seem to find anything on my problem. Last week when I came home from work I went to park my truck and put it in reverse and it didn't want to move. It went but felt like I had my foot on the brake hard and took a lot of gas to get it to move. Next morning it backed up normal when it was cold. When the trans gets hot it starts acting up again doesn't require as much gas to get it to move but more than it should and has a very jerky motion. also when I shift into reverse it bangs into gear. I have 145000 on the truck and have not had any problems other than a delay going into drive sometimes when its cold out. Forward gears all shift fine with no flares or delays. Was planning to drop the pan this weekend to change the filter. The trans has been flushed several times with amsoil but the filter has never been changed. really don't have the money for a rebuild right now hoping its something I can repair myself
