03 5R55S w/ 4.6 Torque converter nuts

2003 limited 4.6 V8
i removed the starter and the torque converter nuts are behind the plate i see them but its tight in there and the bolt head isn't easy visible, how can i remove them ? ,, and can i remove the tranny with the Converter still mounted on the engine , is that a wise thing to do ?

just figured it out .... there's an access plate on bottom front of bell-housing , remove it you can see the nuts no problem... glad ford did something right to make it easy for us DIY`s
 






does anyone here know the 4 torque converter bolt NUT SIZE !!! i have a complete set of metric and standard and none of them fit thanks !!
 












cant fit a deep socket on it ,, has to be a box wrench , tryed 14 , 15 , 9/16, 5/8 none will fit correctly to much slop or to small 03 , 5r55s 4.6
 






Same here i cant find a socket that fits!!

My 94 ex didn't have an access plate on 4.0 with A4LD...so your's must be different eng or trans if it had one...on my A4LD, I used a deep socket...thought it was 13mm....
