Hi,
I have an 03 XL 2WD, and it has an intermitent No-Start condition.
It basically only seems to happen when parked at the local BART (local mass rail transit) station, when left there by my wife, it will ocassionally refuse to start. Flashing anti theft light, nothing at all when she turns the key.
I've been out to the station on a few occasions when this happens, tried both keys and two or three different ways I've been told reset the system. It usually ends up with the truck being towed (3 times last week) to my house, where it promptly starts.
The dealership has been less than helpfull, basically they can't reproduce it so they dismiss it. Unfortunately it makes the vehicle close to useless to me, I can hardly expect my wife to wait for the tow truck every night to get home.
Has anyone else heard of anything similar?
To me it sounds like it must be some sort of RF interference, related to the BART station or something else in the area, it's happened maybe a dozen times and only there.
