03 xlt question

hey guys im posting on here for my wife, she obviously owns a black 03 xlt explorer. i wanna get her a set of steel wheels (black). i just dont know the bolt pattern, ive been told its 5x4.5 but im not sure, also i was curious what size tires i could throw under there to make it look better. thanx in advance guys!

Cragar Soft 8's is gonna be your ticket for some decent cheap black steel rims...

16'' x 7'' Rim w/ Bolt Pattern of ( 5 x 4.5 ) = 62 $ a Rim... I believe...

then the nice chrome Cragar center caps w/ lug nuts will add like 50$ to the order...

If you change the size of your tire you will lose some MPG keep in mind...

A slightly larger tire that would fill in the wheel well a bit better would be IMO

255/65/16 or 255/70/16

thanx man, i was hopin she had the same bolt pattern as me, i have an 03 rubicon and i got the black rock 942d's. i will look into those tires too. she likes aggresive tires.

the max tire you will fit on her X without lifting is going to be

265/75/16 = 31.6'' tire

there plenty of pics on the site with 265/75/16's with no lift to give you an idea...
