04 Explorer heat works great in rear vents luke warm in front vents

Hi Everyone:

First time poster here.. I have an 04 Explorer 4.6L and my heat was working great till yesterday. The rear heat vents are working great nice hot air but the front vents are pumping out just luke warm air. the air flow is fine just the difference in the heat is huge.

I dont hear any weird noises or anything and everything seems to be working like it should just front air is luke warm instead of nice hot air it usually produced..

Any help would be great

It could be blend door actuator.

Does it blow really cold air if you set the dial to cold?

I agree with swetrid, it could be the blend door actuator.

If you determine it is the actuator, here is the thread for changing the blend door actuator.
