'04 Explorer XLT Lift Question's

Brandon@BTF-Fab [(http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=295783) (Phone number : 909 702 7462)]sells coil spacers for $250 shipped. those spacers combined with a 1.5" body lift (http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=312012) will net you enough lift to clear 33's

here is my truck with 2.25" front coil spacers, 1.75" rear coil spacers and a 1.5" body lift with 285/70/r17 (33") Cooper Discoverer STT's

I attempted my 1.5" body lift today, but those rusted pucks were spinning when I turned them. I was going to drill holes, and put bolts in them to make them bind up. How did you get them to stay still?

Well my stock gearing is 3.55 and with 33s and a 12ft trailer gas milage and acceleration suck
I drove an f150 on 35" tires with 3:31 rear end. That sucked! Then I put a 3:73 on it and was pretty close to home. Was told by Oceanside drive train that with a v6,I should've went with at least a 4:10 rear end. Good thing it was a stick.

Yeah they should be able to do the body lift. I was originally going to have a shop install the lift spacers and body lift but instead I saw that as a chance to learn, so I went and installed the bodylift and spacers myself and gain the extra knowledge. I did my body lift in my garage with no air/power tools. If you change your mind and want to do these things yourself you can private message me and ill do my best to walk you through them
I was struggling with the body kit today. Can you tell me how to hold the pucks still so I can unscrew the studs?

If you have a big pair of vise grips you can try to clamp on to it and let it rest against the frame,

An impact gun will be your friend where it will fit
