I am needing a new rear differential and the question that I am keep being asked by the salvage yards is if the ABS sensor is mounted on it?? I'm aware that the Speed sensor is in the transmission and the ABS sensor is in the rear differential. My truck is sitting at my brothers and he is stating that all he sees is a speed sensor mounted onto it (the rear end) as of now..
my question is...
is the ABS sensor and the speed sensor one in the same?? What am I not understanding??
