Well is it 2WD? 4WD? AWD? i believe you can do a TT to drop it maybe 2" or more/less upfront than do lowering blocks for the back. Not sure with the 2005's
TT means torsion twist.. there is a long write up on how to do it somwhere in here... but if you have a new 05 explorer you can get some springs from kent at flikkustoms.com i think zack has some ExplorerUnderground.com
Found on top of the Shocks, Suspenion, Lift Kits section. Anyway, I think 22's will be too big for a 2005 with it lowered. Hopefully someone will help you out.
