05 front driver seat?

hey well my front driver seat is all messed up, i have a 2005 v6 xlt, and a while back i leaned back to hard and heard a pop and noticed the seat moved back and fourth a little, checked it out saw the crack that holds the cushion to the frame, well now the seat is moving far back when i accelerate so something else gave and its very annoying. i basically want to know where i can buy a stock power driver seat, and how hard is it to change? thanks for the help.

Check the junkyards. Very easy to change. 4 bolts & electrical connectors.

Lol ya that's what I figured. I have cloth seats and I can tell already its gonna be real easy to find a clean one in the junk yard! Haha well I'm gonna take a walk through one this weekend, I live in Chicago so we have plenty of junk yards around. Thanks for the info.

Just joking around here, but you might have to wake up the "Bum" sleeping in your new, boneyard replacement drivers seat first, prior to installation.

I live 40 miles out of the city and have only found 2 yards by me and they have only old cars. Can you give me some names of the ones you know with 3rd gens? I need an 05 seat as well in leather!
