If I recall correctly from my old '05, it is behind the transfer case on the passenger side frame rail. You will need the special fuel filter removal tool. It is a pain in the ass.
I think its in the drivers side, right under where you sit when you drive the sucker down the road. Do a search, there as a thread that showed and described the procedure pretty darn good.
Its an every 30K mile maintenance item. Don't worry about going to get motocraft, the original one I removed was made by wix.
