'05 Rear Bumper

Can anyone tell me what is involved to remove and replace rear bumper? Had a slight fender bender and gashed up the bumper. I have ordered a new one and intend on replacing it myself. Any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm in the same boat. Where did you get the new bumper? I haven't had luck finding them online.

There are going to be clips in the top and the bottom of the bumper, those can be removed with a pocket screwdriver. there are also som brakets on the left and the right side of the bumper, not sure what holds them on but I will look tonight and let you know what exactly needs to be removed and how to remove it.

Oredred it from local Ford dealer where I bought the SUV last year. It comes "unpainted". Reason being it is a "paint to match" item so when you get it it has to go to paint shop. Dealer is taking care of it for me. I expect to have it by this Friday, 11/24
