Try holding the window switch and slamming the door a few times while the truck is running.

A couple of years back, neither of my back windows on my '05 would roll down. Slamming the doors fixed it - good tip.

Best test to do is to remove the interior door panel, locate and unplug the red and the yellow wires that are attached to the window motor and apply power and ground directly to the motor. If the motor is okay, one way will make the window close and the other way open.

If the motor works when directly connected, the problem is either wiring, or possibly a bad master window switch. I have an '01 ST that had all kinds of strange window issues (the only window that worked correctly was the driver's window) and it turned out to be a bad master switch. All the windows are controlled through the driver's door/switch. I replaced my master switch and then all my windows worked properly. I bought a new master switch on eBay for under $30 and it's been working fine for 2.5 years now.

Ok thanks I'll check it.

Thank you all that replied to my window problem. I started it up got in back and held the button down and slammed the door. Started working after the second slam.

Good to hear the slam fix worked!

It's either the brushes in the motor or the window is stuck to the point it immediately trips some overload protection. I bet I've fixed 20 trucks like this, most being the rear most unused windows. Usually as long as you keep using it they keep working.

Humph... Good to know, but in my case I diagnosed that my window master switch was at fault and was told the switch is a fairly common point of failure. IDK if the later models suffer from the same switch issues.
