(( EDIT: SOLVED! See solution below ))

I'm not sure where to post this, but this seemed to be the best place, since it seems like I FUBAR'd something bad.

I was doing the LED map lights mod that someone posted a while back with the homemade breadboards. When I went to install it into my truck, I just test-fit everything, and clicked on the map light to see if it worked... I saw a spark, and the interior lights went out and wouldn't come back on. Turns out that the + and - wires were barely touching when I gave it power, so I must have blew a fuse (Cursing starts here)

SO, I turn the key to ACC, and I try to roll up my window, since it looks like it's going to rain. Window doesn't go up (More cursing)... I'm thinking that I might have killed something major; not good.

I start the engine, and it starts fine. However... no Beltminder warning (even more cursing).

What did I blow -- is there some kind of a master interior fuse? I know that, at the very least, the rear powerpoint is still getting power, so I didn't fry my entire electrical system.

EDIT: radio also doesn't work.

EDIT 2: dash gages and message center are also down.

Could fuse 6 in the power distribution box under the hood (60A cartridge fuse) have done this (Delayed Accessory, Power windows, Audio)? Would all of those things be considered delayed accessories (dash, M/C, puddle lamps, interior lamps, etc)?

(Note: yes, this should have been just an edit, but I'm trying to keep this visable, because this isn't good).

Your manual should give you and idea, otherwise just check all of the fuses. I can't imagine you did anything worse than blowing a fuse.

I did check the manual.. the two most likely were replaced, for good measure, but neither was actually blown

However, the problem's been solved. Interestingly enough, the problem was fuse 15 under the hood (15A) which the manual didn't indicate was involved... I resorted to just pulling fuses, and found that one was blown -- manual listed it as "Memory, Courtesy Lights", so I didn't check that one originally since I had many more problems then my lights.

Thanks, rizzjc

Not a problem. Always easier to pull all of the fuses, one by one, than to figure out which one you think is the right one, and then it be fine. ;)
