Ok so I have been playing with the blend door in the last few weeks, and it looks as though it's working but the front center vents never blow out strong and the defroster doesn't turn off. I took off the dash panel and I hit the button to switch from floor to face, and I can see the blend door opening and closing, but the one to close off the other side isn't working. Please help

Search for blend door actuators here... lots of info on failed actuator door replacement. A pretty common failure for our vehicles.

I have seen several of the posts, but I can't seem to find one where it gives the location of the vacuum that closes the other doors. I can see the blend door in the center under the radio open and close, but the force is very light which leaves me to believe I have a vacuum problem that the system isn't closing the other vents. When you press the buttons to direct air flow, you can hear the actuator working. FYI I have an Eddie Bauer with auto climate control and manual rear air which works fine.
