'06 Motorized Rear Seat Won't Fold Down

Just traded in my Mountaineer for a newer Explorer. Turns out, though, one of the two motorized third-row seats won't fold down. I can hear and see the motor trying to engage but it acts as if it's jammed.

Looking for simple suggestions about what I should look for or try before doing something "ill advised."

Mine was the exact opposite. It didn't want to fold up. But some switch bumping and some seat shaking and all is well now. Hasn't acted up in a while because I cycle the seats every couple of weeks or so.

By the way do you know about signing up on Powerblock TV?
