07 Explorer Door Hinge Pins

I have the same issue as some other posts with the clicking hinge on the driver side bottom. Trying to get at the lower pins and bushings to repair.

I have purchased the hinge pins and bushings to do the job.

Does anyone know how to get the lower cap or cover off to get at the lower pin.

I don't necessarily agree with how I handled this issue with my 2008 that seemed to strike the strike place lower than it used to.
I put my floor jack with some wood to protect the door under the door. I raised the jack and put upward pressure on the door. It seemed to have resolved the issue for now. No more striking low when I close the door. I know it's a temporary fix but it has worked for several months now.
