The wife was driving home from work yesterday when she saw the temp light come on. She looked over and saw the thermometer rising. She said that as soon as she saw the thermometer the temp light went off and the needle on the therm. immedietely dropped back to normal. She said that the temp light was on for 5 sec. at the most. Last night at our little league game (it was cold) she was sitting in the truck with our youngest. With the truck idling and warm, the heater would not blow warm air. If the truck was put in gear and driven around warm air would begin to blow, but as soon as the truck was parked and idling cold air would begin to blow out. Checked this out myself this afternoon. The temp light has not returned. The truck seems to be running at the right temp for now, but the heater issue was still present. We still have 1200 miles on the waranty so off to the dealer it will go for a look tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts.
