07 ST bought a few weeks ago with 85k. Noticed a rattle and squeak from the back and when I was looking around the pass side rear door the seal on the body side (not on the door) is falling down and there is no glue holding it. The drivers side rear door is ok. I think this is making the door close a little loose and causing a rattle, I pushed it up and it seems better. Does anyone know how its supposed to be held on? I was thinking of double sided sticky tape. It has shrunk a little so it needs something to hold it in place.
.
Also have a squeak back there. Thought it was the seat but it was the same with people back there, empty, or folded down. Tried putting the rear window down and I think it stopped. Also the sound it makes going up when it reaches the top is the same sound. I'm going to put some armor all on the windows rubber seal at the top to see if that helps

If you take the screw out of the plate on the bottom of the door you can pull the seal taught to the metal. For some reason they seem to shrink with time. I used a bead of yellow automotive weatherstripping glue to hold mine in place, that was about 4 years ago. haven't had an issue since.

I was able to pull about an inch of rubber seal from the bottom and it pushed back in place on the top. I think it helped with wind noise also. Will pick up some automotive glue to keep it in place

This ST has the power roll down back window. armor all and clean the dirt out of the tracks seems to have stopped the squeak for now
