My wife's 08 mounty is acting up. I tried to pop the upper glass on the rear using the little button that is at the tag lights and nothing happens. I used the remote and the door key pad buttons and it works fine. So I think the actuator is fine just the button is bad or a fuse or something is blown. She said a few days before she put the vehicle in drive and it opened on it's own. Strange huh? I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of anything like this? Kinda frustrating, I wonder if it would be still under the 60000 mile warr. Vehicle only has 48000 on it. I will probably call ford and see.
