I was just wondering if these were very safe to use. They look a bit cheap, but if anyone has had good experience with them I'll try them out. I'm just trying to get the rear back up from sagging. I only need about an inch. I tried an add a leaf and only got one inch, but still need about 1 more.

I haven't used them but most of the ppl on here who I have seen use them have said that they were just using them temporarily and then getting some Warrior's. You can get the Warrior shackles from desertrat.com . They do cost around $50, but they are very strong.

Spas has a set on her 91.. If you get them, reinforce the center of it with some flat steel..

I have had mine for almost a year and no problems yet. I drive somewhat aggressively and they have held up fine. I drive mostly on the street, and some puddle jumping throygh mud once in a while. I was told a problem that might arise with them is they will let the rear leaf springs go sideways if it were to flex too much. If it is mainly driven on the street and you only do light off-roading, then you should be fine. If you go off-roading with the big boys, then you will need something heavier duty.

i got them on our 97. i put them over the factory shackles and for the orginal location the spring was at i put a pipe with a bolt through it for extra measure. so far it has been that way for over a year.

I have them on a 91x and i did what they said...use a flat bar in the middle to help supprt them. Mine seem fine but i am putting warrior shackles on.

I had them. I wouldnt even trust them on a light pickup. The cheap grade 3 bolts bent, and the extensions bowed out in less that 3 weeks. The wort 13.00 ever spend. I have the warrior 153's now and am very happy with their strength and durability
