Right now I have a 2400 watt max amp that would push those if i were to buy them but im in the process of selling the amp and buying a new one.. I'm looking for somthing that Is going to give me some good hard hitting bass

everyone that I know with the ALUM series from audiobahn has been pleased. It is a better built woofer than the other 'bahn sub you listed, and will handle more power.
The sony's are ok too, but they are sony's after all ;) , nah I wont rag on them...

so my vote is for the ALUM's :D

I just sold my two audiobahn 12" they were the AW1251 except they werent the special edition style with the Dub grills. I was very pleased with them and would still have them if i wouldnt have ran across Hydroxy's seven 10".
But i would say go with the audiobahns u wont be disappointed.

Ill will also say that i found out that they sounded better in a large ported box, or atleast for me they did. I had two AW1251 in a 6 cu/ft box with two 4x10 ports with bout 500 watts running to each sub.

I was also looking at 2 kicker CVR's or Power Bass 12" sub's

i run an audiobahn awt12x. i have no complaints. in my 6 cu ft box it hits around 138.

Well if you want SPL than bahn is the way to go, if its for SQ than bahn isnt that way to go. If you want a decent 12 for the price i would get an Infinity Kappa Perfect 12 VQ or an Power Acoustik ****-12.

i have Kicker Comp Vr 12's for sale here. I never really ran much power top them so they are in perfect shape. They've just been sitting around in the box I built last year.

They sounded great with about 200 RMs going to them

How much for just the subs and do you have any pics ? Also are you interested in a trade for my 2 15" audiobahns plus some cash ?

actually, I see now that you are from northeastern pa. where abouts in Pa? I drive to Bloomsburg and Scranton all the time.

I paid close to 300 for these things new. Is 125 for both asking too much? I dont really know how much they retail for anymore. i havent had it in the truck in a long time. these subs were barely used. I always had to haul all my stuff around in the explorer, so i barely had the system in there. Let me know, i could possibly deliver or at least meet you somewhere close.

For a couple bucks more i'll throw in the box too.

go to my link in the sig. and on page three you'll see the pics of the subs and box

They retail for about $80 so $125 for both isnt bad.

If you're willing to try something else...go for DDs or Eclipse...can't go wrong with EITHER of those!!! My DDs hit VERY hard pushed by 1200 watts. I've never had a problem with them and have owned them for over 2 years now.

How are these going to hit in compair to my 2 15" audiobahn's 650/1300 each....?

the sony p5s arent so bad but have you ever heard of bostwick

I personally like Kicker Solo Barics, S12L7, 2 OHMS. Thats MY personal preference. With so many different opinions, I would go to a location where I could listen to them side by side. With MY biased opinion I KNOW these kickers will come out on TOP. Not saying you don't have 2400 watts (it's probably for one milli-second) I'd take the maker and model # to the same locations you listen to the many different speakers listed here, and have them give you the real wattage of it. I use Zapco but that's a Whole Nother Ball Game :-)
