126,000 miles Is it worth it?

I paid 2200 for my 97 4 door 4x4 with 144,000 miles and I love it.

my wife's grandfather had a 99 explorer with 385,000 before the oil change place left the plug out and blew up his engine so 125,00 is still low milage

Don't forget to check the dates on these threads. This one is nearly six years old. Paying almost $5k for a '99 Explorer would be pretty high these days.

190,000 on my 96 XLT 5.0 AWD. Just now doing inner and outer tie rods, upper and lower ball joints. Bushings still all look good and sway bar links are still tight and intact! An amazing car! Only real problem I have had was an oil leak from the oil cooler adapter.
