My 16 Sport's push button start switch is sticking. When I press the button and release, the starter bendix gear still sounds like it is engaging the flywheel even after it has started. Sometimes it lasts 2-3 seconds. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, is it the switch? The switch looks like an easy fix.

Not sure what the part number is for the "Start/Stop" Button, but I do know from experience that it can easily (and carefully) be pried-out of its slot in the dashboard, and there's only 2 wires going to it, which makes for a surprisingly-easy replacement process. However, unless you can visibly see or feel the switch binding or sticking, it's more likely to be something involving a sticking starter drive perhaps, which would require further investigation...

Don’t put any beauty ring stickers around your push start button, just fyi
