Welcome to the site! They don't make body lift kits for 95+ explorers. I am not sure which one it is but there is a performance accessories body lift that many people on here have modified a little to fit their 95+ explorer.

Welcome to the site.. you need to purchase the 3" body lift for the ranger.. Part number 853.

Just make sure that you don't get too happy with the TT. You dont want it to go past 2". Other than that, welcome!

am i going to have to modify that ranger body lift?

just the bumper brackets

With that 5 inches of lift (the 3 inch body and 2 inch suspension lets call it.....) will 33s tuck under it nicely...fender trimming?

yea you're most likely going to have to trim a little to fit 33's

fyi: another option (just to confuse you) is 2" TT, 2" BL, and perry's fenders... 2" BL is a lil easier than the 3" and with the perry's im running 35's

how much do those fenders go for? also whys the 2 inch bl easier?

they were $360 shipped to NJ

Some people have had to install extended brake lines with the 3" BL. You dont need to worry about that with the 2", and also you dont have to worry about the steering extension. Not to mention thats an extra 1" lower to keep your center of gravity,,, so slightly better handling.

what it all comes down to:
If you want to fit 33's but dont want to deal with the fenders, you have to do the 3" but you may still need to trim, and after trimming you may still rub while flexing.
If you want to fit 33's and flex all over the place without rubbing, do the fenders and the 2" BL

I don't know how much off-roading you have done because of your age and first 4x4 but keep in mind the higher you go the farther the fall! In other words, be careful!

tonight my friend and i swapped out those flimsy single leafs in the rear for a stack donated from one of his parts rangers....and 87 and they bolted right up my backend used to sag but now its up a difference of 2 3/4 inches but it looks like it should with a slight lean forward maybe a difference of 1/2 inch to an inch

the mono leafs were weak..... posi shots dont help i bet tho...hehe...the ass end used to sag now the back is maybe a 1/2 inch higher.handling and everything improoved too...no more axle wrap in them posi shots either...

im ordering the 2 inch body lift to be safe this weekend...also the shackles

now crawl under there, crank them torsions, throw on some shackles and BL, some new tires and hit the trails. no need for talking, just romping. believe me, this site has any info you could need, and if ya cant find it, just ask.

should i use a certain shackle over another......i can pick some up from autozone for like 25 bucks but id rather have a more quality shackle the ones at autozone look like theyll tweak and bend after i got a hold of em

i would go 3''. if anything, you could undo the torsions a bit if its to high. better to have a bit to much clearance than not enough. dont be worried bout rollin, i do corners at 55ish with no rear swaybar and im still here. just my opinion.

as far as the shackles go, i ran the autozone ones. but decided to upgrade later on just for assurance. id just order the warrior ones. cant go wrong with them.
