17's strong enough?

I've been looking at the 17" corba wheels, I have a 91 4x4 with the hubs will the wheels be strong enough if i cut out for the hubs??and will they fit?? any pictures of at explorer with 17's?

Your first idea... i have a 91 explorer xlt 4x4 and i was thinking about making it a off road truck. would a 2.5 james duff lift, 2" coil spacers, and 2" add a leafs with 32" mud terrain tires be a capable off road...

2nd... i just order my james duff 2.5" lift kit and i was wondering if i could make it in to a 3.5-4" lift kit?

day later..can i get a a 1.5-2" skyjacker lift kit and a 2" coil spacer and a 1 1/4" lift shackle? what else would i need to make in a 3.5-4" lift? like a drop pitman arm??
