well i made a little mold for the middle peice and im just going to tape it in there to see how it looks. If I like it I'll glass it up and get it painted.... If not then I'll get a speedgrille for an F150 and put that in

just thought i'd let everyone know that everything is completed.

i changed a few things over the last few weeks from the original plan though

-i'm running clarion components for the rear firing set out the rear
-i got a turquise underbody kit from "phazer" which is extremely bright in fact brighter than my old gold kit street glow
-i swapped my overhead console screen to a 6" lcd (just like i used for draft's dash screen)
-i changed my front sound stage amp to mtx

also many little details also changed- i'll be getting pictures up of everything fairly soon and it will definitely not disappoint.

well i'm going to shows both days this weekend. my digital camera is at best buy with their performance disservice plan and won't be back for at least a week. so i guess maybe i'll buy a disposable camera and snap some pictures for ya'll.

Since i know a lot of people may be reading this, i am gonna post that me and Mike (the guy who helped me with all the work and who has the truck with that huge box and the 15s in it) are looking for an early 80s monte carlo in good condition. let me know if yoiu know anythign about one.

What Kinda Monte Carlo? Im bout to sell my truck and Build up an 87 Monte Carlo SS, but ill keep an eye out if i see anything. Is there a certian model yall want? SS? LS? what yall gunna use it for?

we're gonna use it to try and do something more radical than my truck with the audio install and a few tasteful body modifications.

ideally we want a nicely built motor (or at the very least a v8) with a perfect body and no interior and wrecked paint. we'll definitely be doing the whole interior custom and repainting it no matter what. an ss would definitely be nice too, but isn't necessary so long as it has the hp to get moving.

Well all of the 80's SS's only came with a 305 but it was a hopped up 305, But they are dogs, but if you arent looking for drag racign im sure it could be fine, or you could drop a 350 in like what im palnnign to do....

There is a monte Carlo Forum, ill keep an Eye in the forsale section, does location matter?

I have a friend back in Denver that had a couple of Monte's they were looking to sell... One was a pretty nice SS and the other was just balls out built... I'll get in touch with them for more info if you want me too...
