I guess you just took the shot really up close... because it looked a lot bigger in the other photo...

I can't wait for summer and I can actually work on my ex.... =/

I looked behind the radio bezel today.. there seems to be a lot of room back there. especially on the driver's side...

drew. i tested out my suspension today. totally rocks. but i smashed into a dune wall and broke my radiator and tranny cooler. im outta commission but my suspension is still holding up.

No pictures from today. I finished redoing the frame of my center console and glassed it. Its going to need a lot of detail work to get it right, and sanding it will be awful because of teh shape, but at least its started.

My brother is here with the escape now and we got a lot done on his install tonight. Covered his boxes in the fur and after about 3 hours of little jobs on things got a frame set up and the amp rack glassed. can't wait to go out in the mornign and find out we did it wrong... the fur looks awesome on the boxes though, and we recovered his center consle armrest with it too. i'd do much more for him with it, but my mom would shoot me.

for those who don't know he is running L7 12s with an mtx 342 amp at 2 ohms mono for each, a panasonic 903u hu, and focal access 5.25 components up front. Its a great set-up for a fairly low investment. the amps run a bit hot, but they put out plenty of juice. got to love mtx for that, they just power right along even at too low of ohm loads and respond with great power output.

he is also running mobile spec wiring, and two mobile spec 1 farad caps which are beautiful.

Hey Expo, what Clarion is that?

well here are some pictures-

Mike's box is now 11.8 cubic feet after adjusting for teh subs and the bracing. wanted 12.0 but couldn't pull it off. now all we have to do is make a fiberglass piece to cover the top and go out to teh windows

sorry, forgot pics

nice tails... what kind of paint did you use?
also have you tried using "the perfect circle" its awesome for cutting out speaker holes, it will cut a perfect circle, smooth too.

i haven't, i'm cool with the jig saw actually or using my router. when i want to make a perfect circle i use the router.

actually in this case i didn't cut the holes, Mike did while i sanded the amp rack for the other car. not that i'd have done better (they are more than good enough- thanks Mike) but yeah.

You know you are going to have to do my tails now. LOL.

havent' ya'll noticed that mine are done the same way? and have been for months
