1991 Explorer license lamp replacement

Is there a quick and easy way to remove the license lamp assemblies from the bumper of my 1991 Explorer to replace them lamps? It isn't obvious to me and I don't want to break them by trying the wrong thing. Thanks.

license bulb on my 93 EB

You don't have to remove the whole assy. Get on your back under the bumper, twist the bulb holder to the left and pull out. The bulb is #194.

Works with a tight fit

Thanks! I had a little trouble getting my hands inside the bumper to the sockets. But once there I was able to remove the bulb socket easily. A little trickier getting them back in, but I managed that as well. Probably easier if you have smaller hands/arms.
