How do I find out what tranny I have its one of 3
•Ford A4LD, 4 Speed, Automatic Transmission
•Ford A4LDE, 4 Speed, Automatic Transmission
•Ford A4LDE-HD, 4 Speed, Automatic Transmission
not sure were to look ran the vin didn't answer the question.

It's just straight up A4LD. I think the other variants you're seeing were used in other vehicles. The one in the Explorers is a basic mechanical transmission, not an electronic one.

Look on the door sticker to be sure, the basic A4LD will be "trans T"
