1992 F-150 wont start

I am working on a 1992 F-150 with a 4.9L 5spd. it started acting up 3 days ago. when u turned the key on the accessories and gauges all would come on normal then when u tried to start in everything lost power(dome lights gauges radio all 12v items). if you removed the ground from the battery and reinstalled it it would start. it did that 2-3 times so i replaced both +&- terminal ends and it worked great and starts normal till today. i did the same turn the key on the accessories and gauges all would come on normal then when u tried to start in everything lost power, but now when you try to reset it it just keeps shutting every thing down.

...A couple things come to mind from your brief description...:scratch:

...Replace the battery cables, not the ends only...Your Ignition switch at the bottom of your steering column may be going out, or your neutral switch...
