- 1993 ford explorer xlt
My 1993 ford explorer has a bad seal where the torque converter sits, i replaced it when i rebuilt the 4.0 l the engine runs like a dream, the trans puking fluid is what is stopping from driving my first ford
it wont take much for me to pull it, i have a shop to utilize ( I'm a marine diesel mechanic) I do need some pro advice though. I know your suppose to have it machined in place, but i dont have the time or means to do so. I have herd of staking it in place but not sure how to do so. I would love any tips, tricks or advice on replacing this seal so that i can enjoy my explorer.
