Long story let me try and make it short
last week my sister was drivin my car when she got in she said the car ran hot on the way home and smoking under the hood I went and check I had a hole in my hose going from the radiator to the engine (the one that connects to the thermostat) and I notice the hose was off the radiator (so aintifreeze was goin on the engine) I cleaned up got new hose a new clamp and started it up, it was shakin hard then it misfired then I tried again it started but immediately I notice smoke coming from the side by the spark plugs!!

Underneath the spark plugs and it still ran hot, I got underneath hood and its this pipe that like 3 inches away from the spark plugs, and it goes underneath the car it was real moist and I notice every time i tapped it smoke came from it (while car was off) and went up by the spark plugs. A friend said Maybe the thermostat got stuck
bla bla bla I put I new one on Same problem!

So now New hose no leak Fan works new thermostat.

Problems When car starts it shakes and have low rpm and light smoke appears to be comin from underneath the spark plugs and directly on the other side of the engine of the spark plugs, and that pipe I mention still gets moist.
After five mins the car runs hot and it smells like burnin somethin as more smoke becomes visible from the engine.

Car only has 72k on it another thing I notice that lead me to believe thermostat my heat was great almost too hot and now its just cold (I live in Chicago) Last thing I had fixed was a Drive shafter.

No smoke from tail pipes either no big white smoke or big black smoke I havent drove the car since but starts it up to see where smoke is coming from.

I know its long but I been reading your threads and found nothing like this and wanted to be as detailed as possible I dont get paid til next week, and Im not tryin to get ripped off. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.

The "smoke" might actually be steam. The "smoke" caused by the leaky hose might have been caused from the thermostat getting stuck, making the cooling system pressures very high, and so the hose was the weak point that failed.

If the engine overheated, or has been running hot for awhile, chances are there is other damage, either blown head gaskets, or possibly even completely cracked heads, both of which would allow coolant leaks, and more "smoke" from the engine.

My guess is you'll end up having to at least have the heads pulled, and if you're lucky, the heads are ok and you'll just have to spring for new gaskets and all the labor involved to install them. Otherwise you'll end up needing new heads, at the cost of about $200 each (the engine has two, so $400), plus the gaskets as well.

ok where is the head and gaskets located so i can see if thats where the smoke came from, It rain today i let the hood cus my uncle said all my antifreeze went to the engine so maybe its the residue burnin since I havent drove it while hot, my sister did from jewel which i like 5mins, but he was saying gaskets as well.

anyway after it rain i didnt see the smoke but it did misfire and no heat and the fan came on immediately which my uncle felt was weird but now its no more smoke atleast i havent seen any as the car ran hot just now thanks for the quick response.

Another thing I notice that I wasnt payin attention too, it seems as if the hose never get fgoing the fan comes on and the radiator gets hot but the hose dont and still no heat.
MY uncle said that my spark plugs are no good and need changing could that be the cause of the low rpm while in idle when i hit the gas it takes like a min til it register how hard my feet is on.

Sound weird let me explain wen i start i hit the gas light and it doesnt do anything i hit it hard it goes up just alittle then like 20 seconds it acts normal.

Water pump may be bad...i just had to change mine. had no heat but the temp gauge went up, not to the red but beyond normal. heat still builds up in some hoses and the pressure could of blown them out, but I'd run the engine for a min and cut it off then feel the hoses to make sure there all warm, and the ones going to the heater core.
When i took the pump off the fan/turbine thing inside it had came off the pump itself.
