Waterpump

I agree with the guys at the shop replacing the waterpump is the next move I suspect the impeller has come loose on the shaft. Let us know what you find:salute:

RESOLVED

It was the water pump the empellar was completely separated from the shaft. As soon as I got the pump off the empellar stayed in the water cavity.

Thanks a bunch to you guys for the great advice and help. I learned a lot from you and a lot more from actually doing the work myself.

I cannot thank you guys enough!!!

Hi 5 bro !
So er what's ya next job your going to have a go at?
You get more dirty on vehicles than aircraft and you need to dust down ya metric wrenches
Make sure you sign out ya headlight for working on your truck at night lol

Rick, next task is a water pump and head gasket on my MKIV Jetta GLI. After those are fixed I will hopefully be able to start the interior and trick it out the way I want it.
I got it in decent shape but the engine was flawless, and then winter hit, and I totally dropped the ball on the quick temp changes. I already replaced the heater core in it, then the pump went out now I am getting bubbles in my coolant.

That is my favorite car and I was happy my wife let me get it, so I want it to be sweet!!
